KENNELS

The built area runs east to west (27meters). A central, open corridor, with security gates at each end gives access to first, and on the right-hand side, the cattery, then the dogs’ recreation area, and finally to six kennels. On the opposite side of the corridor are four larger kennels.

The northerly kennels consist of rendered and painted concrete block wall, to a height of approx 1.5 meters. This is topped by galvanised fencing to a full height of approx’ 2.5 meters. All of the kennels are to a full height of 2.5 meters with security doors and mosquito netting to the “bedroom” doors.

The six kennels to the right have a “bedroom” size of 2m x2m, and an open run area of 2m x 3.5m. These units are quite capable of housing four small dogs or three large. The four kennels to the left have a “bedroom” size of 2m x 2.30m, and an open run area of 2.30m x 3.20m. Our vet has been quite happy for us to house four large dogs in here. Flood lighting has been fitted to the kennel areas and water points are plentiful. With our large exercise yard (9.20m x 5.60m), a small level paddock adjacent to the kennel, and the peaceful surroundings we are never short of walks for the dogs in our care.

Important: We insist, for the protection of all boarders, and to conform with Spanish law, that your pet be micro chipped, have current rabies protection and be inoculated against the most common forms of infection.
